No investigation will occur unless a formal complaint is filed with the 第九条协调员 by the complainant, 或者第九条协调员决定提交正式投诉.  正式投诉必须采用书面形式，并包括以下内容:

调查

GBCC uses a preponderance of the evidence st和ard (“more likely than not”) in making determinations of responsibility.

制裁

Upon determining that a student respondent committed the alleged conduct 和 thereby violated this policy, 决策者可以实施下列一项或多项制裁:

• 警告 – a notice in writing to the student that the student is violating or has violated institutional policy;
• 缓刑 -对违反规定的行为的书面谴责. Probation is for a designated period of time 和 includes the probability of more severe 纪律制裁 if the student is found during the period of probation to be violating any institutional regulations;
